New, Improved TourBook Guides

Based on member feedback, AAA has improved the 2012 edition of the TourBook guides. We have expanded coverage to include the entire U.S. and Canada. We've enriched the content to include hotel and restaurant ratings. And we've added new listing information to support changing needs and expectations such as Internet service, pet acceptance and sustainability. Discover a redesigned format, handy navigation tools and vibrant new content that make travel planning even easier.

Easier to Use

Now for each city, find the attraction, hotel and restaurant listings all in one place. No more flipping from the front section to the back. And no more guesswork to find places that are part of a larger destination region. Listings appear under the actual city name, and cities are alphabetical by state or province.

Easier to Navigate

Enjoy handy new navigation tools that point you directly to key content. Up front, find the GEM Attraction Index to locate exceptional places that offer a Great Experience for Members®. In the back, check out the streamlined Points of Interest Index, which breaks out attractions, activities and events into eight interest areas.

Easier to Carry

Some TourBook guides that previously contained multiple destinations have been split into smaller regions to better fit member travel patterns. That means fewer pages to carry, focused just on the places you're visiting.

Easier to Plan

We've loaded the guides with firsthand expertise from our professional travel editors and inspectors. From breathtaking photos that offer a preview of your experience to detailed itineraries, editor's picks and inspector notes, you'll gain valuable insight to guide your travel decision making.

Easier to Travel

We've taken navigable maps from the renowned AAA Road Atlas series and placed them in the front of the TourBook guides. Use the overview map to get the lay of the land, and use the individual maps to plan your route.
