As part of our commitment to safety and service to our members, AAA has launched a program to approve driving schools that meet our quality standards. This program was piloted and refined in driving schools around the country and now approved schools are available near you. To earn AAA Approved status, a school must comply with all state and local ordinances related to driver training, and demonstrate sound business practices. Schools must also agree to a site inspection by a driver training specialist from AAA, who evaluates the school's resources, faculty, and quality of training.
AAA Approval Means Quality You Can Count On
Our experts thoroughly inspect each school to confirm that the school provides clean, safe, comfortable facilities with current technology and up-to-date training materials. They use only experienced driving instructors and perform background check which are made available for AAA review. These schools use late-model, well-maintained training vehicles with specified safety features, such as airbags and anti-lock brakes.
And as a valued AAA member, you also receive a discount from schools in our network. AAA has taken the guess work out of finding a driving school for you novice driver.
